The Aurelian is currently in development. Every detail is being thoughtfully considered before the estate hosts its first wedding weekend. The answers below reflect the vision guiding its creation and how the estate is intended to be experienced.
The Aurelian is a private wedding estate spanning more than 50 acres, where one couple celebrates from Thursday until Sunday.
Centered around a climate-controlled glass conservatory, the estate also features a grand hall designed around natural light, an outdoor stone terrace, and accommodations for the wedding party across the property.
The Aurelian is coming to Georgia.
While we are not yet sharing the exact location publicly, it will be revealed first to The Accord, The Private View, and The Invitation before being announced more broadly.
We will share that date once key development milestones have been confirmed.
Every stage of The Aurelian's development is being approached with intention, and we look forward to sharing meaningful milestones along the way. The Accord, The Private View, and The Invitation will receive the announcement before it is shared more broadly.
Not immediately.
The Aurelian is being introduced in phases, with each new addition thoughtfully revealed as it is completed. The first phase includes the ceremony spaces and the bridal house, with the groom's quarters, guest villas, and The Aurelian Suite following in future phases.
Every couple receives a written description of exactly which spaces are included for their wedding date.
We never envisioned the estate any other way.
For four days, the property is reserved exclusively for one couple and the people they have chosen to gather beside them. Every space, every view, and every moment is reserved for a single wedding weekend.
Because time becomes part of the experience.
From arrival on Thursday through departure on Sunday, the wedding weekend has room to unfold naturally. There is time to reconnect with family and friends, celebrate without feeling rushed, and share a first morning together before the weekend comes to a close.
Yes.
Wedding weekends will always remain the primary purpose of the estate. At select times throughout the week, The Aurelian may also host experiences that align with the property's character and intended use.
These may include corporate retreats, photography sessions, bridal showers, and engagement celebrations. Additional opportunities will be introduced thoughtfully as new phases of the estate are completed, with details shared as the calendar takes shape.
A wedding at The Aurelian includes exclusive use of the estate from Thursday through Sunday. Every ceremony space, every available accommodation, and the grounds themselves are reserved for your wedding weekend alone.
As the estate is introduced in phases, every couple receives a written description of exactly which spaces are included for their wedding date.
The estate is reserved as a whole, with one experience designed around the full wedding weekend and one reservation for the estate itself.
Yes.
When you reserve The Aurelian, the estate is yours for the entire wedding weekend. Accommodations, gathering spaces, and the grounds themselves are not booked separately.
The Aurelian is reserved as a whole by one couple at a time.
Every wedding weekend includes exclusive use of the estate and the spaces available for your date, with reservations varying only by season. Reservation details will be shared before the calendar becomes available.
Absolutely.
Couples may choose from the outdoor stone terrace, the conservatory, and the grand hall. The pairing is entirely yours to decide. Each combination is thoughtfully planned in advance so the experience feels seamless from beginning to end.
Accommodations at The Aurelian are introduced in phases.
The spaces available to you will be determined by your wedding date. The bridal house hosts the bride and her party throughout the weekend. As future phases open, the groom's quarters and guest villas are added, and The Aurelian Suite becomes available for the couple's wedding night.
Your agreement will specify exactly which accommodations are included for your date.
Weather is something we plan for from the beginning, not something we react to at the last minute.
An indoor alternative is thoughtfully incorporated into every wedding weekend rather than held in reserve as a contingency. The conservatory and grand hall are climate-controlled year-round and connected under cover, allowing the day to transition seamlessly indoors while preserving the experience envisioned for the weekend.
Yes.
Every wedding weekend is led by a professional planner designated by the couple. The planner serves as the estate's primary point of contact, allowing your attention to remain focused on family, friends, and the experience itself.
Before the wedding, planners are welcomed to the estate for a walkthrough and introduction to how the property operates. The estate and planner deliver the weekend together, guided by the same standard of hospitality and care.
Absolutely.
The kitchen was designed with outside caterers in mind, complete with a dedicated service entrance and direct access to both the conservatory and grand hall.
For the remainder of the weekend, meals may be arranged however you prefer. The estate will offer a selection of pre-arranged options so guests can comfortably remain on the estate throughout the weekend.
Very few people.
The estate is designed to operate quietly in the background, allowing the focus to remain where it belongs: on you, your guests, and your wedding weekend. Should something require attention, it is addressed promptly and discreetly.
The Accord is the founding collection of couples who choose The Aurelian before it begins hosting wedding weekends.
Being part of The Accord asks nothing more than your interest. In return, when reservations become available, Accord couples receive access to dates before they are offered publicly.
The Accord closes when The Aurelian begins hosting wedding weekends.
Joining The Accord is the best way to do so.
When dates are released, couples within The Accord are contacted first and offered the opportunity to reserve their preferred date before public availability begins. Reservation and deposit details will be shared at that time. Couples interested in receiving priority access may join The Accord at any time before wedding weekends begin.
Before wedding weekends begin, we plan to welcome guests to experience the estate as significant milestones are reached. These opportunities will allow visitors to walk the grounds, explore completed spaces, and gain an early sense of the wedding weekend experience.
Once The Aurelian begins hosting wedding weekends, couples considering the estate will be welcome to visit through scheduled private tours. Invitations to pre-opening experiences are extended first to The Accord.
Absolutely.
One of the parts of this journey we look forward to most is getting to know talented professionals who care deeply about the experience they create for couples and guests.
We are thoughtfully building relationships with professionals whose craft, hospitality, and approach align with the experience envisioned for The Aurelian. Many of those relationships will begin long before the estate hosts its first wedding weekends.
Thoughtfully and over time.
While talent is important, we place equal value on professionalism, hospitality, and the way a partner contributes to the overall guest experience. Our goal is not simply to recommend exceptional professionals. It is to help create a wedding weekend that feels seamless for every couple, guest, and creative partner involved.
Of course.
We understand that many couples have existing relationships with professionals they would like to include as part of their wedding weekend.
To help ensure a seamless experience, we welcome the opportunity to become acquainted with any professionals participating in a wedding weekend and ensure everyone shares a common commitment to the hospitality, service, and operational expectations that guide The Aurelian.
From the very beginning, we wanted the estate to work as beautifully behind the scenes as it does in front of guests.
A separate service entrance, dedicated loading areas, direct kitchen access, and integrated rigging points are all designed to make setup and service more efficient. The goal is simple: allow professionals to focus on creating exceptional experiences rather than navigating avoidable logistical challenges.
Yes.
Before wedding weekends begin, we intend to welcome professionals to walk the grounds, experience the layout firsthand, and see the estate through the lens of a wedding weekend.
The Private View is our early-access community for creative professionals and hospitality leaders.
Those within The Private View receive updates as the estate takes shape, including renderings, construction milestones, and opportunities to experience the property before wedding weekends begin.
Following along is simple.
Whether you're inspired by the vision, interested in the architecture, or simply curious to see the estate come to life, you may choose to stay connected and receive occasional updates as the journey unfolds.
Important announcements, including the estate's location and the date The Aurelian begins hosting wedding weekends, are shared first with those who have chosen to follow the journey.
You'll receive updates from the build, early renderings, and first looks at the estate's spaces as they are revealed.
Along the way, we'll share the milestones, decisions, and moments that shape The Aurelian's story.
